Where things stand
The Blind Machine is early and small. There are no open positions right now. This page exists so the answer is honest rather than a form to fill.
What the work is
Building a trust layer for science: verifiable, privacy-preserving computation that a skeptic can check offline. Concretely, that means homomorphic encryption on real cohorts, content-addressed applications, a sandboxed compute worker, and an open CLI that holds the security boundary. The standard here is that no guarantee rests on our honesty — everything security-relevant is open and reproducible.
What we care about
- Scoped claims over hype. An overclaim is a bug with a long fuse.
- The least-powerful tool that works — a hash before a blockchain, a manifest before a DSL.
- Reading the threat model before writing the feature.
